Title: Washing Away Yesterday
Posted: August 18, 2025

How different would we live our lives if we could simply wash away the experiences of the day before?

If every shower rinsed not just our skin, but our memories—the words, the moments, the pain.

Would we be freer? Happier? Reckless?
Or would we live in a world of no consequences at all?

Because if you could erase a painful moment, so could someone else.
And maybe, what you wished away was what someone else needed to remember.

The truth is—we already have something like this.
Apologies are the soap we use to try to cleanse the pain of yesterday.

But unlike in this analogy, we can’t control whether the apology is accepted.
We can’t force the stain to lift.

And so, the imprint remains.
The scar shapes us.
The lesson lingers.

Would we take more risks if we could wash away our failures?
Would we be bolder, or would we be emptier?

My opinion?
We wouldn’t be better for it.
Because what remains—even when it hurts—is what grows us.

Out of the bat cave and back on the road, my mind wandered here today.
Maybe tomorrow it will focus.
But for today… I let it wander.
