Title: After the Rain

Nothing in our lives is truly by chance.
There is meaning woven into it all.

For me, this day was the end of the past—
and the beginning of the future.

The blessing of the journey
has been the change in how I view love.
I realized my ex and I were shaped
by the wrong ideas of love.
Ideas taught to us in childhood.

We believed love was built
on physical connection.
We believed marriage was a partnership
defined by finances.
We believed success meant stability.

But all along,
we were walking unconsciously
with a broken belief system.

Two parallels defined our life together:
passion and financial security.
And those two forces
controlled everything.

The ending was ugly.
But the beginning—
the beginning is what matters most.

Now, I am ready to see differently.
To break down my barriers.
To challenge old beliefs
through faith and trust.

Because when you keep repeating the same patterns,
you stay trapped in the same cycles.

True growth, for me,
has been the sunshine after the rain.
